Public Information Films

Public Information Films (PIFs) were government-commissioned films designed to educate and raise awareness among the public on various issues, including potential dangers. Some of these films were known to be quite harrowing and left a lasting impact on the memories of children who grew up in the 1970s and 1980s. Also included are more straightforward public service announcements (PSAs).
