Comedy Playhouse presents: The Bishop Rides Again

This comedy playhouse had over 7 million viewers, more than any other episode that series. The reaction was favourable enough that a series of six episodes was quickly comissioned for transmission early the following year and so the series 'All Gas and Gaiters' was born.
