Emva Cream

Here Dr Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Brackett are enjoying a quiet evening at home in Stackton Tressel with a real fire and a glass of Emva Cream Sherry to help keep them warm. The following year, 1981, they shot the pilot for their BBC 2 sitcom, Dear Ladies. The first series was then filmed at the BBC's Manchester studios and shown in 1982.
