Flesh & Blood

Flesh & Blood was a drama series, following the fortunes of the Brassington family. Headed by the bombastic Henry (Bill Fraser), the family run their own cement business, a company that provides employment for the local community. Amongst all the normal trials of life the Brassingtons also have to deal with a continuing financial crisis that could make their workers redundant. Thora Hird, although too young for the role, plays Henry's mother, Mabel.
