Fox 29 – A Paramount Station

Branding at its finest – this ident (part of an affiliate-mandated look on the part of Fox) has the WTXF 29 logo bathed in searchlights and crowned by a golden "Fox" logo, obviously echoing the famous 20th Century Fox logo. But there is a tiny detail lurking below – "A Paramount Station". WTXF was caught in the incredibly awkward position of being a key affiliate of a network owned by one famous Hollywood studio, yet itself being owned by another, who had its own plans. This ident subtly but dramatically typifies this.
