Home Sweet Home

UTV gets on the property programme bandwagon. Hosted by husband-and-wife duo Lynda Bryans and Mike Nesbitt, the programme featured homes from across Northern Ireland and reports on home-related issues such as building your own home, owning overseas property and charting the progress of a self-build project in County Antrim. A second series of "Home Sweet Home" aired in 2006, just as Mike Nesbitt decided not to renew his contract with the station; he is now an Ulster Unionist member of the Northern Ireland Assembly. Lynda continued to present UTV Live until she left UTV in June 2010.
