The earliest Thames continuity in our collection dates from 1969. Apologies for the poor quality of the recording, but considering its age and date, it's a corker! From 19th July, David Hamilton introduces the programme 'Performer and Composer' featuring Anthony Hopkins, and refers to Thames/ITN coverage of the Apollo 11 launch the following day. It's a true slice of history.
