In-Vision Continuity – Ian Stirling

At first glance you might think Ian has been put on air by mistake, and that the technicians are looking for the right colour background. Yes, it certainly looks that way. Then suddenly, Ian finds himself beamed up in a flah of white light, as if he is being abducted by aliens! Which is just as well, because what you're seeing is TSW's intro to the television premiere of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" in summer 1987. Ian lived to tell the tale and was back in the hot seat after the film.
