Man at the Top

Drama series about the ruthless and ambitious northern anti-hero, Joe Lampton (played by the dashing Kenneth Haigh). This series is based on John Braine’s best-selling novel and follows Joe’s rise to the top as a fancy-pants city stockbroker, all thanks to his brilliant move of marrying his former boss’s daughter, Susan (played by the stunning Zena Walker). Joe is a force to be reckoned with in the world of business, fighting tooth and nail to maintain his luxurious lifestyle, but soon discovers that success comes with its own set of temptations. Joe is a man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, whether it’s a promotion, a new car or the heart of a beautiful woman.
