Meridian Tonight (South)

A few days after Meridian began transmissions the new magazine programme, Meridian Tonight began. Fred Dinenage and Debbie Thrower present this first edition from Southampton. Mike Debens was joined by Alison Holloway in Maidstone and a new sub-region was created on the Hannington transmitter with Mai Davies and Andy Craig presenting the programme there.
