This is from the broadcast of the first of the programme's two series, the other being shown in 1978. A bit controversial in the day, due the subject matter of an unmarried mother, it was written by Richard Waring, who had notable success with sitcoms in the 1970s, (And Mother Makes, Rings on their fingers, etc). This was also Paula Wilcox's next TV role after being Chrissy Plummer in 'Man About The House'
