BBC East News
The BBC television news service for the East of England began on 5th October 1959 from St Catherine’s House on All Saints Green in Norwich. Initially the bulletins were only three minutes in length. They were extended to 10 minutes in 1962 and named East Anglia at Six Ten. In 1964 they were extended again to 20 minutes and renamed Look East. On 29th September 2003 Look East moved to The Forum in Norwich.
