Northwest Tonight 1984 – 1988

On the 3rd September 1984 the first edition of North West Tonight was introduced, broadcast in the new time slot of 6:30pm. The name change was to reduce the confusion with Look North which both the Leeds and Newcastle editions border with North West Tonight. In came North West Tonight, complete with a map of the North West in the titles, so no change there!
