Spotlight 1988 – 1991

On 31st October 1988 a new look was introduced to Spotlight with BBC logos being added to title sequence for the first time. This coinsided with main edition being extended to 30 minutes and starting at 6:30pm. The BBC 1 globe was dumped in favour of the Spotlight logo on continuity. During this era Chris Rogers moved from TSW to become an occasional presenter on Spotlight. Russel Labby also came over from Channel Television.
