News at Ten 2008 – 2009

On 14th January 2008, News at Ten was brought back again, after Michael Grade criticised removal of the bulletin saying “The original removal of the programme was a shocking mistake that damaged ITV more than anything else” The revived News at Ten saw the reintroduction of the dual-newscaster team, pairing new presenter Julie Etchingham with Trevor McDonald, who had temporarily come out of retirement.
