BBC Weather 1985 – 1996

On 18th February 1985 BBC Weather introduced state-of-the-art computer graphics made using a Quantel Paintbox and an Apple Macintosh computer.

Meanwhile Breakfast Time has their own look

1988 Refresh

On 30th May 1988, new graphics were introduced.

BBC Daytime introduced regular short bulletins in the mornings, with presenters in an informal setting, sporting nice jumpers against floral arrangements!

A new Introduction slide is introduced in 1988.

In late 1992 a new welcome slide is introduced.
