Rebecca

A new adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's 1938 novel, co-produced by Portman Productions for Carlton with WGBH Boston and Tele-Munchen. This version had Charles Dance as Maxim De Winter, Diana Rigg as Mrs. Danvers and Emilia Fox as the new Mrs. De Winter. It's a good adaption, and fleshes the story out more than Hitchcock's version did, or indeed the 2020 Netflix version.
