RTE Two Ident

On 2nd October 2004, RTÉ rebranded its second channel from N2 to RTÉ Two. The reprise of the RTÉ Two name, after 16 years, reflected increased investment in original programming for the station. A new presentation package was rolled out using the channel's new colour scheme – featuring the green, white and orange of the national flag. Station idents saw cut-scenes combining film and animation leading to the common theme of each ident – an open room where items from the cut-scene reappear.
