The Take was a British television crime drama series which followed the activities of criminal sociopath Freddie Jackson (Tom Hardy), who had recently been released from prison. The four-part mini-series was adapted by Neil Biswas from the novel by Martina Cole and shown on Sky1 from 17th June 2009 to 1st July 2009.
