In 1998 Sir Michael Parkinson brought back his chat show to Friday evenings after a gap of 16 years on BBC One. For this late 90s revival, Laurie Holloway and his orchestra arranged the famous Parkinson theme tune that had originally been recorded by Harry Stoneham.
