Daybreak

Daybreak was a British morning television programme broadcast on ITV from 6 September 2010 to 25 April 2014 replacing GMTV.The first version of Daybreak was presented by Adrian Chiles & Christine Bleakley who both previously worked on BBC’s The One show. Daybreak was broadcast from the former London Tonight studio, which gives outstanding view of London, but not so great in the dark.

Unfortunately the viewing numbers were dismal and continued to stagnate. By spring 2011 ITV announced that it was incorporating Daybreak into its ITV News operation as part of a management restructure, followed shortly by Lorraine.
