Sky Television

Sky originated as Satellite Television Ltd (SATV), a consortium established by a former Thames TV employee and appeared on screen as Super Station Europe. In 1984, it underwent a rebranding to become Sky Channel, marking the beginning of its journey into broadcast history. Today, Sky has ascended to become the world’s largest media company, possessing a plethora of satellite channels both in the UK and internationally, along with newspapers and various media outlets.
