News at Ten 1992 – 1999

On 9th November 1992, News at Ten dispensed with dual presentation, with Trevor McDonald becoming the sole newscaster beating alot of competition from the other news reader. Although all ITN presenters names were record for the voice-over to the introduction to the programme, which come in handy as most did in fact cover for Trevor. The critics give a mixed response, but the audience share surged with the new anchorman style.
