Steptoe and Son has to be considered as one of the best classic british comedies. Its original run was from 1962 to 1965 but returned to our screens from 1970 to 1974. The series starred Harry H Corbett and Wilfred Brambell. It was written by Alan Simpson and Ray Galton.
