Scottish TV 2003 – 2006 Branding

Monday 6th January 2003 saw Scottish TV adopting the celebrity idents that the rest of the ITV network had been using since 28th October 2002. As well as featuring National celebrities, a number of Regional idents starring Scottish and Grampian Television personalities were also produced.

Sandy Ross, managing director of Scottish TV said: “Providing a new on screen station look is in keeping with the rest of the ITV network and what we are proposing will provide viewers with a seamless transition from regional to network programmes. The new idents, which are already running in other ITV regions, have proved to be very popular with ITV viewers. Our new regional idents will have a similar feel and style to the network ones. This will allow us to promote the brand of Scottish TV and the faces and personalities behind the station.
