UTV 1993 – 1996 Branding

At 6.00pm on Friday 4th June 1993, Ulster Television introduced its most radical relaunch so far – which not only involved a change in its logo after over 23 years, but also how it referred to itself on air – it was now officially UTV.

1996 – 2000 Refresh

On 7th October 1996 October 1996 a new set of ident featuring local scenery was introduced.

In January 1998 UTV added the musician ident, which covered a wide range of tastes including a DJ at a mixing desk. How very trendy for UTV.

2000 Refresh

On 1st July the final set of idents with the the 1993 UTV logo, were introduced.
