Now the BBC Weather with David Braine, and it’s absolutely baltic out there, and it’s March too!






The BBC's first daily weather forecasts began on radio, 26th March 1923. The first TV in-vision weather forecast was broadcast on 11th January 1954 presented by George Cowling. Today the forecast information is provided by MeteoGroup, who replaced the Met Office as the BBC's provider of weather services in 2018.
